Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. First you leave your name here, then you create a post on your own blog that links back here and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them hi in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
Now to make this #FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. The Feature bloggers are chosen randomly from participants in the Follow Friday or through twitter and blog introductions. If you are interested in becoming a Feature let me know! It is also required to follow the host blog (parajunkee.com) and the Feature blog to participate in the #FF.

Q. Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?
Not that I actually read any book that was so unbearable, but the book I dislike (dislike, not hate) most has to be a shortened version of Prisoner of Zenda by Anthony Hope. Not that the story itself wasn't interesting, but it is the language that's annoying. Old style English gone replaced by everyday language, plus the actions are minimum. We're 15 years old and we have to read a seventy pages plus novel (extremely simple English)! My seven year old cousin should be the one reading it. Still, I have to finish the novel for Lit. Sigh.
P.S. Do you think I should buy Wither (Lauren DeStefano) or Divergent (Veronica Roth) or Red Glove (Holly Black)? Pick one 'cause my budget's limited.
Good luck finishing!
ReplyDeleteOld follower stopping by. Thanks for visiting my blog this week.
Uh. Yeah, sometimes language just does it in for me.
ReplyDeleteBtw, based on reviews, I would go with Divergent. I've read Wither and White Cat (but not Red Glove), but I would choose Wither between the two.
I'd say either Wither or Divergent, but I've heard so many good things about Red Glove. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog, happy hops! *g*

LOL! Hi! Just stopping by. Following you from Feature & Follow My Book Blog Friday. Would love a visit and a follow back on my blog: http://blog.writerslairbooks.com. Thanks! Nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteOld follower stopping by. Unfortunately, I haven't read any of the books you asked about, so I can't give a suggestion. If it helps, one of my friends really hated Wither, so I would cut that one out.

Hopping through. Assuming you've read White Cat, you definitely have to get Red Glove!
